Joe- Pye- Weed even attracts poodles like Sammy
August 2012 - I had a wonderful conversation, with Sammy's owners about backpacking, raised bed, organic gardening and nematode root spray. Sammy didn't mind the delay, he just made himself comfortable under the shade of a Joe-Pye-"tree".

July 25 - 26, 2011 - Allegheny River Rails to Trail

This Rails to Trails bicycle trail is one of my favorite; following the Allegheny River for 32 miles. I had to laugh, wildflowers that have taken me several years to propagate were speckling the trail.  Joe- Pye Weed, Ox-eye Daisy's, Ironweed and Bugbane were a few that were recognizable from the saddle.
